Chapter 107
Chronos HQ Tokyo - Cloudgate
We are shown the levels of security which surround Cloudgate, many troops guarding the main entrance along with flying type Zoanoids (Bio Sonar) guarding both the Psycho Warp Radiator and Heliports on the roof.. Next we see Zoalord Shin receiving a report from one of the Zoanoids, the “Gunners Window” which comprises the entire 76th to 84th floors has been saturated with Bio Blaster type Zoanoids. He declares that the Guyver unit would have great difficulty in entering the building with its current defences, but secretly wonders to himself how after the 4 rebel Zoalords advertised Aptom's location on national television he is expected to believe that there will not be a confrontation somewhere. Just what was their motivation……???
Cloudgate - A private suite.
The four rebel Zoalords are discussing their plans, They wonder if Shin's boosting of the building's security will deter Guyver 1 trying to infiltrate it and rescue his friend. They think though that by parading Aptoms stone form on national television and giving an execution time they will force Shou's hand. They wonder however that if the Gigantic Armour attacked would they really be able to pull off their plan?
Zoalord Krumegnik explains that he has interesting theory as to why he believes this will not happen. He points out the fact that they have never encountered both the Gigantic and Gigantic Dark Hyper Guyver armours simultaneously. Krumegnik thinks that this is because in fact there is only one Gigantic Armour and since there are two Guyver units only one can summon it at a time.
His shocked colleagues then listen as he further postulates that following their encounter with the Gigantic during its fight with Pulukshertyl where they witnessed the armour disappearing at a critical moment, that Guyver 1 does not appear to have dominant control over the Gigantic Armour and that it therefore likely that Guyver 1 and not the Gigantic will be their adversary this time. The time is near when the Biobooster armour will be in their hands and that secret will be revealed……
Now we break to scenes of Chronos foot soldiers patrolling deep below Cloudgate, and then Sho and Hayami, tunnelling through earth and rock, Shou is using his gravity controller along with the Guyver sensors and Hayami's descriptions of the underground levels of Cloudgate to tunnel them to their destination.
Cloudgate - Underground reservoir.
Two Chronos guards who have got the short straw on guard duty are disturbed from their work (or rather their complaints) by a sound coming from the large reservoir that surrounds them. Guyver 1 emerges from the water taking them by surprise and before they can even think about reporting in, Hayami has frozen them both solid with his Zoanoid ability.
Chapter 108
Hayami explains to Shin that whilst working at Relics Point he had access to the designs of Cloudgate, even though they don't know exactly where Aptom is being held Hayami suspects its likely they will have to infiltrate the higher levels of the building where various control centres and secure facilities are located.
The Odagiri mansion.
Mizuki explains to Tetsuro and Natsuki Shou's plan, all though all are glad that Shou is not on his own Tetsuro seems concerned and leaves the room leaving his friends puzzled. He is worried about Hayami's condition, he thinks to himself that although Hayami is a Lost Number like Aptom, the way in which he was processed after escaping Relics Point may have left him in a less than perfect condition.
Cloudgate - Underground processing section.
Shou and Hayami have managed to secure a processing lab deep within Cloudgate. They have restrained the Chronos scientists there and Hayami has got to work on the security systems. He has looped the Security camera's for 6 hours and disabled the alarm systems, Shou explains that probably because Aptom has been turned to stone he isn't getting any readings from the Guyvers sensors and therefore cant track him that way, Hayami is therefore scouring the computer systems for a possible location for Aptom. As they are searching the data one of the Chronos scientists manages to get to his feet unseen and flip a switch on a control panel. Hayami and Shou can only watch in horror as one of the monitors shows the occupants of 5 processing tanks waking up, they transform quickly into Enzyme III Zoanoids!
Within a matter of seconds they have closed on Shou's position and he is fighting for his life, in the first attack the scientist who had woken the Enzyme units accidentally gets in the way and is slain by them without hesitation. Hayami is helping where he can but Shou and him are completely outnumbered, one of the Enzyme III's tails completely penetrates Shou's right arm and only his quick thinking stops it from being completely ripped off. Hayami is horrified by the injury but Shou is still on the move, he calls to Hayami to hold onto him as he uses the Guyver's Gravity Controller to race upwards to a walkway a few hundred feet above them. Using the brief respite as the Enzyme III's deploy their wings they formulate a desperate plan and just as their opponents reach the walkway they both jump down to the lower level. The Enzyme III's descend again but their prey have split up and are out of sight and the Zoanoids must now seach for them. One Enzyme catches a glimpse of a fleeing Sho and soon they are all in the chase. As they round a corner it appears that they have Shou trapped in a dead end corridor with the Guyver's back towards them.
As they advance ominously it looks like Shou is in major trouble until Hayami hiding in a crawl space uses his power to freeze the groups legs to the floor. Shou then turns around revealing that he has been charging up one Megasmasher and he wills it to fire with pinpoint accuracy!
Chapter 109
The Megasmasher completely destroys the trapped Enzyme III Zoanoids, Sho instantly begs it to stop in time. Its beam races across the lab destroying everything in its path, just as it begins to penetrate the lab wall (and into an area where the security systems have not been overidden) it dissipates leaving an anxious Shou and Hayami to size up the damage, Shou's Guyver armour is in a bad way but Hayami seems to have a very brief “episode” which he partially manages to hide from a concerned Shou. Both return to the Chronos computer system where they are able to find that Aptom is being held on the 97th Floor. That is where they must go and the duo head upwards. From the shadows of the lab we see the Zoanoid that was previously in the employment of the Rebel Zoalords watching our pair silently, he activates his own Zoanoid powers that of complete invisibility and begins to tail our heroes.
Cloudgate - Private Suite.
It seems that even though the rest of the building is unaware of Shou and Hayami's intrusion, the Rebel Zoalords are well aware of them, they seem to be following their progress with some amusement. Soon they will discover just how pointless their “rescue mission” will become, they muse.
Arizona Chronos HQ.
Doctor Balcus is discussing his imminent return to the Arizona Base with one of his subordinates who seems surprised at his superiors very brief trip to Washington. Balcus is concerned about the Gigantic Dark's attack there and is unsure what his next move will be. He is also concerned about the Zoanoid Spacecraft “Project Ark” and as such will be returning to the Arizona base that afternoon. As his transmission ends one of the flight controllers reports a VIP flight asking for permission to land. Balcus' subordinate seems incredibly worried but is calmed when he hears it is Doctor Chan from the Autralian HQ who is scheduled to arrive.
One of the walls of the rock outcrop in which the base is situated opens and lowers revealing a heliport landing pad. A giant Chronos transport flyer lands and is slowly brought inside the base.
Some Prominent Scientists have come to welcome Doctor Chan, but it is not he who emerges from the Flyer, rather; Agito Makishima, Shizu, and henchmen in tow greet the scientists.
Chapter 110
The scientists are shocked and slowly one of them recognises the figure in front of them he shouts the name of Agito Makishima with fright which causes bedlam in the docking area. However Shizu's Zoacrystal shines and all suddenly is calm, it appears that only one of the Scientists or guards who were at the greeting is not a Zoanoid and he is quickly restrained by one of his now-controlled colleagues as one of Agito's Henchmen crushes his head like a grape……
Sometime later…..
Another Chronos Flyer arrives at the Arizona Base, A VIP welcome is put on by all present as they welcome Doctor Balcus returning from Washington. At first Balcus has no inkling of anything wrong, everything is as it should be but then from the corner of his eye he spots a patch of dried blood. He demands to know what it is but his stupefied underlings can only murmur that “its blood”. Of course he knows that but “what has happened here he” he demands. No one will answer him so he uses his Zoacrystal to demand an answer, to his shock however none of the Chronos staff will respond. His mind working quickly he assumes that only one being could have this effect, “that woman, Griselda”. He demands to be taken to the control room and his still bewildered staff comply.
Arizona base - Control room.
Several of the security monitors in the control room are showing static (presumably Agito's doing). Balcus is co-ordinating a response but is worried that even he does not know what Agito's plan is. Balcus therefore orders a lockdown on each section of the base and an immediate halt to all elevators to try to limit the access Agito has. Dr Balcus is concerned that Agito may be here to finish off what he started last time with the Gigantic Dark's Gigasmasher and hopes by isolating each section from the other with blast doors he can both limit Agito's movement and any potential damage to the base.
Arizona Base - Main Elevator Shaft.
Three huge pillars descend into the depths below the Arizona base, Elevators that ring each pillar lie still and immobile now that Balcus has halted their movements. In one of these Elevators is Agito, Shizu and four of his henchmen. Agito seems to be savouring his progress so far, he hadn't expected Balcus to return so soon but then its not a major disruption. He orders his men to jump into the elevator shaft and without a second thought they leap into the abyss. Shizu follows them and Agito then Summons Guyver III obliterating the elevator in the process. As he leaps after his comrades he summons the Gigantic Dark Armour.
Chapter 111
The freefalling henchmen and Shizu transform mid flight into their battleforms, that of Libertus troopers and Griselda their Zoalord. Descending from above is the Gigantic Dark and as it passes them they all take hold of it. The Gigantic Dark using its Gravity Controller comes to a gentle halt and the Libertus Troops and Griselda disembark it gracefully at the bottom of the shaft. Agito is now facing the Arizona base's Psycho Warp Generator, a device that can be used by any of the Council of twelve Zoalords to amplify their will and reach any subject on the Earth. This will be their first target!
Griselda orders her troops to transform into their Libertus “Mode B” form. From each of their shoulders emerge two Bioblaster units (rather like the Vamore type Zoanoid's) and these start to charge up. At Agito's command the four fire at the psycho warp generator causing catastrophic damage.
In the control centre way above them Balcus is trying to work out what Agito's plan is this move seems to be extremely obvious, yet why had he not used the Gigantic's Gigasmasher to do this?
Suddenly something truly frightening comes to Balcus, surely he couldn't know about that, surely that couldn't be his true objective? Before he can complete his train of thought he is interrupted by one of his subordinates reporting in that Hyper Zoanoids have reached the intruders…..
Below a fierce battle rages between the Libertus troops and hundreds of Hyper Zoanoids, Griselda is standing behind her troops her Zoacrystal shining brightly. It seems every attack made against a Libertus trooper is anticipated and quickly countered with devastating effect.
Back in the control room Balcus and his subordinate watch the ongoing battle, the subordinate cannot believe what he is seeing, the Libertus although hugely outnumbered are decimating the Hyper Zoanoid troops. Balcus remarks that this is Griselda's doing and the Hyperzoanoids do not stand a chance against a Zoalord who can sense their intentions and is directly feeding the information to her troops. Balcus suddenly remembers his earlier concerns and asks where the Gigantic Dark unit is, the control centre staff cannot find Agito and Balcus remarks that he must have been right there can now be no mistaking Agito's objective now.
The Gigantic Dark stands alone, dwarfed by the size of the last known Creators Spaceship on Earth, its fossilized exterior renmains largely intact. with some only some fractured pieces slightly out of place. Placed around the exterior are the same sensors that the Relics Point ship had attached to it.
Chapter 112
Doctor Balcus is in an emergency elevator designed to descend the elevator shaft at huge speed. His subordinates are pleading with him not to face the Gigantic Dark alone. He takes some time to explain that as Agito is wearing a Guyver Unit, which is the armour of the creators themselves, he could potentially control the Creator ship gaining access to its secrets (and possibly other guyver units) along with the fact that countless valuable data from the creator ship cannot be afford to be lost. This cannot be allowed and Agito must be stopped at all cost. He tells them to hurry and fire the elevator, he won't face Agito alone….
With that the elevator races downwards leaving the puzzled subordinate wondering what Balcus meant exactly.
At the Psycho Warp Generator battle site Griselda is overseeing the fight with the Hyper Zoanoids, they are no match for her Libertus troops and she takes a moment to glance below her to where Agito has headed wishing him to remain safe.
Below Shizu's Location Agito looks upon the magnificence of the ship in front of him and casts his mind back to an earlier discussion he had with Doctor Heckering. Doctor Heckering is explaining the true source of most of Chronos' Super Bio Technology, this has come from the creators ships that Chronos has studied.
He further explains that he has never seen it but most desired of all of the creators artefacts by the Zoalords is a metal sphere that exists within a room in the centre of the ship (Agito pictures this very room in the Relics point ship) [The sphere on the roof of the ship must have become the Gigantic Control medal however the Sphere on the pedestal in this room is what the Zoalords really desire]. This metal sphere is in fact a “Navigation medal” it is the heart of the ships navigation control and may contain the last link to the creators location 9as well as being a device that can control a bioship. Doctor Balcus had expressed his desire for this object to Doctor Heckering and Agito seizing on this asks if the Arizona Ship would still have a functional Navigation Medal within it. Doctor Heckering presumes so otherwise Chronos would not be protecting it so fiercely. Agito slowly remarks “Is that so?” and Doctor Heckering's face turns to shock as he see's that Agito now plans to acquire this from the Arizona Ship. Agito thinks that if he could posses this then the entire Chronos organisation would be nothing to worry about including the New Chronos "Project Ark" and that the whole world would surely then be his…
As Agito snaps back into the present he savours that thought and takes a step towards the ship. Without warning however a laser beam gouges its way through the rock in front of where he stands, forming a line obstructing his path.
Balcus appears atop of the ship in front of Agito, he curses him and tells him he has come far enough. Agito seems annoyed at this slight setback but taunts Balcus wondering if alone he has enough power to defeat the Gigantic Dark. Two shadowy forms make their way forward from behind Doctor Balcus as he proclaims “But I am not alone!”
Zoalords Lee Yentsui, Waferdanos, and Balcus, face off against the Gigantic Dark.
