Chapter 1 - A New Beginning
By Baz_m81

Inside his bedroom he was sleeping, he began to turn from side to side groaning. He was having another bad dream, he felt that something was wrong, something close. Suddenly his eyes shot open and he sat up, he opened his mouth to speak,

"Guy..." he let the word trailed off. There was no need for Sean to call his unit, he was just having another bad dream. He felt the usual throbbing coming from the organisms on his back, almost as if his unit wanted to be called. This time the throbbing seemed to be stronger, but it was like this for Sean every time - when he had a bad dream the unit wanted to be called. Almost as if it knew Sean needed it's protection, he smiled wryly - he did not want the unit or it's protection, he only wanted to be normal again. Sean could not recall the dream itself and this annoyed him, usually he could close his eyes and see some of the images from his dream but this time there was nothing. He then began to feel the moisture around his skin and looked at his sweat soaked bed sheets. As he stood up he pulled his bed sheet off of him and it fell to the floor. He looked at the other side of his double bed, empty. It had been that was for a month, since Cori left him. He looked at the digital clock lying on the floor, it read 6.30am. Sean walked to the bathroom and stood at the sink looking into the mirror in front of him. He ran his fingers through his hair trying to straighten it out as it was a mess due to his unresful sleep.

Through weeks of not shaving he now had a dark beard, which made him look a lot older than he actually was. He looked at the depressed face in front on him and thought of one word, alone. That was the way things were for him again - being alone. Sean turned on the shower, stepping under the hot water and began to reflect on the few weeks after returning from the archaeological dig. Sean dealt Chronos a major blow after sending the relic home and felt great about it. Sean felt as though a massive weight had been lifted from his shoulders. Cori moved in with Sean and both of them were happy, at first. But as the weeks passed the began to drift apart, Sean was just too with-drawn - he realised this himself but couldn't help it. The Guyver was calling to him, it was still a part of Sean and no matter he craved for a normal life he couldn't have one. The dreams then started and he became more withdrawn. Sean sat in the house all day with his notepad of diagrams contemplating what Chronos' next move would be. Sean awoke the one morning and Cori was gone, that had been 3 weeks ago.

***

Sean's thoughts were suddenly halted as he heard a loud knock on his door, he dived out of the shower and wrapped a towel around his waist. He quickly made for the door, but stopped at the end of the hallway, Sean looked at the door opposite him. He proceeded quietly up the hall, looking through the spy hole in the door, ready to call for the Guyver at a moment's notice. He recognised the figure standing outside and opened the door

"Atkins", Sean said as he opened the door signalling his guest to some in, Atkins stepped inside the hallway and Sean closed the door. Sean looked at him, Atkins was around five foot nine in height, he must have been in his early thirties. He was slim in build yet looked very agile, as if he could react at a moment's notice. Which would be just about right considering the fact that he was a government agent ans Sean was sure he'd often be required to do this,

"Sean, you're looking.....well", Atkins replied, he thought that Sean looked very run down, he was only around an inch shorter than Atkins himself. His hair has clearly not been cut for weeks and looked like he hadn't shaved for an equal amount of time, he looked more like thirty-two than twenty-two years old. All he would need were some dirty clothes and he'd look like a regular street bum.

"You're a lousy Liar", Sean said. He then looked at Atkins inquisitively, "how'd you find me?"

"C'mon Sean, we have people everywhere. We had to keep a close eye on you", Atkins shrugged his shoulders, "you know how it is kid." Being spied on was something that Sean just didn't like, he switched on the light and looked at agent Atkins, Sean remembered the way he looked when he last fought Chronos, the older man hadn't changed one bit - even down to the clothes he was wearing. "So, what's been happening with you?" Atkins asked.

"Why ask me that?" Atkins was taken aback by Sean's tone, he sounded angry. "You guys have been watching me, so you should know."

"Okay Sean, I'll get straight to the point. I've been sent here because of the Chronos threat, things are getting dangerous and we need your help."

"Atkins, I never asked for this - the Guyver I mean." Sean had quickly calmed down, Atkins knew that Sean respected him - this was one of the main reasons Atkins was sent. "All I want is a normal life but - " Sean seemed lost for words.

"Look Sean, I can understand how you feel but you've got to look at the bigger picture here. You are the most powerful weapon that we, no, that mankind has against them. We still don't know exactly what they're planning but you can bet your ass that it doesn't involve a great future for us!" Atkins could see that Sean was taking notice of what he was saying so he continued. "You say you want a normal life, well I say that's not gonna happen! If you were meant to have a life without the Guyver then you would, but you don't. So it's time to stop feeling sorry for yourself because you're needed!"

***

Sean realised that everything Atkins was saying was the truth, there was no deceipt with this man,

"Okay Atkins, point taken. I've just had a lot on my mind lately. So what's going on within Chronos? I assume something big has happened?"

"Yeah kid. The Guyver Zoanoid is alive!"

"What!?" Sean began thinking about his battle with the Guyver Zoanoid, "you've gotta be bullshittin' me!." Sean began to walk back to his bedroom and gestured Atkins to follow.

"No bullshit Sean, it's true." Atkins stood with his back turned in Sean's bedroom as Sean dried himself off with his towel and started getting dressed.

"Not that I don't care about that but there's something else I need to know." Sean had now changed into a pair of blue jeans and a white t shirt, he walked over to Atkins. "Is Cori safe?"

"Yeah, she's fine. We picked her up, she's in our HQ helping us out with some Chronos intel." Atkins thought he seen a hint of suspicion in Sean's eyes. "Don't worry Barker, she went willingly, the government aren't all bad you know!"

"I trust you Atkins and I believe what you are telling me is the truth, I just don't trust the government as a whole." With that Sean got something to eat while Atkins drank a cup of coffee. Afterwards both men walked outside and got inside Atkins' car. As the government agent drove he began to give Sean some information about what had been going on since his last run in with Chronos. Atkins was part of what was called the 'Chronos Underground Resistance' or CUR. They were within the structure of the government and dealt exclusively with the Chronos threat, trying to monitor Chronos as best they could. Their main goal had been to get as much intel as possible and try to find out what Chronos' ultimate goal was. Although they were mostly made up of ex-military personnel there were also non-military too, there were doctors, engineers and scientists to name but a few. Atkins reported directly to a General McBlane, he oversaw the whole HQ which was around 200 people strong. From what Atkins knew the General himself had an experience with a Zoanoid so knew what they were up against, however Atkins did not go into anymore details regarding this saying "it wasn't his place to say" and that was that.

Meanwhile inside a large warehouse in the middle of LA a man stood gazing upon a large bio-tube, he was deep in concentration. Doctor Kendall was an average sized man, he was around five foot eight and had a thin build, he was dwarfed by the large bio tube which was in front of him. Although his title was 'doctor' he wasn't really a doctor, well not in the conventional sense anyway - he was one on Chronos' most talented scientists. His genius easily surpassed the other six doctors who were in the room, doctor Kendall was in charge of them all, he loved the feeling of having power over them and being able to give each person orders. As he though about this a sly look came over his face - like that of a hyena before it goes in for the kill. The figure inside the bio tube was male, he was floating in a green coloured fluid which populated the cylinder shaped glass tank - which was at least nine feet in height and the diameter was around five feet. There were numerous tubes in various parts of the man's body which were then connected to some computer equipment and a monitor outside the tank. Kendall watched as the various analytical information scrolled across the screen, he looked at the figure inside the tank and spoke out loud,

"When will you wake up Crane?" Doctor Kendall walked away from the bio tube with nothing but that question in mind...

Atkins was driving the car and Sean was looking out the passenger window. Atkins could tell exactly what Sean was thinking about, he was thinking about Atkins' story. The story that the government agent had told him about what happened after his battle with the Guyver Zoanoid...

After Sean sent the ship home Atkins was there by himself, stranded with no transportation. But this never lasted, within an hour the FBI had twenty of their agents flown into the area. Their orders had been simple - keep the area secure until the heavy machinery could be transported so they could start digging the area up. They were hoping to find some trace of alien technology left behind by the ship. Atkins was the superior and he had positioned three men patrols strategically around the area, making sure they kept radio contact. Atkins was using one of the archaeologist's tents which were still up as a command post, he was inside it sitting at a desk with a map of the surrounding area in front of him. Earlier he had been surveying the now destroyed mountain and was now deep in though, wondering if they would find anything. Atkins stood up and went outside, he froze

"Aaaaaarrrrgggghhhhhhh!!!" A scream came from the woods, a shiver ran up Atkins' spine as he thought about the last time he heard a scream like that. Atkins immediatly un-holstered his handgun and began talking through his radio,

"Patrol five come in!" He tried to contact the patrol who were in the general area of where the scream came from. "Come in patrol five!" - nothing. Atkins then heard some gunfire, "Which patrol is firing their weapons? Report!"

"Sir this is patrol three sir, we have engaged an enemy." He sounded scared stiff. "It came from the fucking tree, it's -" more gunfire sounded, "Aaaaaarrrrrrrrrrgggghhhhhh!!!". Atkins knew that this was serious, he was certain two of his seven patrols were down.

"All patrols, this is Agent Atkins", he began, "we have hostiles at large, they have to be considered extremely dangerous - shoot to kill!" Atkins scanned the surrounding area. "All patrols make your way back to my position - now!" It was his worst fear, no reply from anyone. Atkins sprinted to the trees and looked around, he spotted a ditch which would camouflage him well and give him a good look at the surrounding area. Atkins thought the worst, that his patrols were all dead - he dived into the ditch and waited. Then he saw it, a Zoanoid stepped out of the woods into the clearing. It was the same type that made mincemeat of his comrades before the Guyver had killed it, a Lisker type he recalled Sean saying. It had blood all over it's hands and face. From the woods another three Zoanoids appeared, they were similarly bloodstained - two of them were the Lisker type but the other one was something different. He was around the same height as the Lisker type but not quite as bulky. His body was still well muscled but the most defining attribute was the size of it's shoulders - they were bigger than the creatures head. The first Lisker which appeared grunted then spoke,

"Okay Vamore, since your senses are supposed to be better than ours you can lead the search!" He pointed towards the collapsed mountain.

"Watch your tone, I have been appointed squad leader from our superiors." The Vamore then looked back towards the woods, "the rest of you move out!" From the woods more Zoanoids appeared, Atkins counted another five of the Lisker types. The group of Zoanoids moved towards the collapsed mountain, the Vamore type was flanked by two Liskers and the rest had taken up positions behind. Atkins began to wonder what they were searching for as these creatures clearly knew something was here whereas Atkins thought there may be. Atkins got a sinking feeling in his stomach, he remained still for dear life, these creatures hadn't noticed him and he sure as hell never wanted them to!

***

As the Zoanoids reached the collapsed mountain the Vamore type pointed to an area, the Liskers moved in and began throwing massive boulders out of the way. Atkins was stunned by their strength, they were lifting huge rocks themselves which he doubted even ten men could lift! More and more dust was spreading into the air around them, making it harder to see what was heppening but could still hear the Zoanoids grunting as they dug and smashed their way through the rubble. Suddenly a huge beam of light erupted from underneath where some of the Zoanoids were standing, Atkins saw the brilliant bright white light incinerate four of the Lisker type Zoanoids and a whole pile of the rubble. The remaining four Lisker Zoanoids backed off and re-grouped next to the Vamore type. Atkins knew all too well what that bean looked like, the Guyver's chest weapon! A few minutes later the air had cleared somewhat and there stood the Guyver Zoanoid with it's arms at it's side, it's head was looking sown towards the ground. It's body was motionless.

"Arlem Crane! Do you understand me?" The Vamore yelled, there was no movement from Crane at all, Two of the Lisker type Zoanoids began to advance towards the Guyver Zoanoid. Still the Guyver Zoanoid remained still, the two Lisker types got around six feet from Crane

"Wait!" Vamore told them, but it was too late. Suddenly Crane's head sensors began to move, his head snapped up looking in the direction of the two Zoanoids. The Guyver Zoanoid then leapt straight at the two Lisker types, it extended one of it's front vibrational swords and sliced one of the Lisker types in half before the Zoanoid could even move.

"Crane stop this at once!" Vamore yelled, Crane paid him no heed and drove his extended fingers straight through the other Zoanoid's chest. His armoured hand tore through the Lisker's chest, as Crane pulled his hand out blood poured from the wound and the dead Lisker slumped to the ground. Atkins wondered why the Guyver Zoanoid was attacking Chronos, he worked for them - this didn't make sense. The Guyver Zoanoid spun around to face the remaining three Zoanoids, suddenly Vamore's shoulders opened up revealing two bio-laser weapons, they made a strange thrumming noise. "Arlem, cease your attack or I will be forced to use these!" Arlrem still said nothing, he opened his right hand and the metal orb at his waist began to radiate with a dull purple coloured energy. A black sphere appeared within his palm, the sphere began to grow to at least the size of a fist. He thrust the sphere in Vamores direction. A split second later as the sphere hit it's target Vamores head exploded, sending pulp in every possible direction. As the lifeless corpse fell to the ground he remaining two Liskers looked at each other. They charged at the Guyver Zoanoid. Once again the metal orb at his waist glowed, this time he shot two of the black spheres - one at each Liskers head. In a flash both Zoanoid's were dead, the two headless bodiless slumped to the ground. Atkins then watched as the Guyver Zoanoid stood still, once again his arms at his sides and his head facing the ground. As the Zoanoid corpses began to decompose Atkins noticed something strange, the Guyver Zoanoid suddenly reached up to his control medal, feeling it with his clawed hand.

"What?! The control medal." Atkins remembered how Sean had tore it out of his head. "How did I get here?!" He seemed confused, looking at the ground next to him. "Zoanoids? How did -" Arlem became very unsteady and he began to sway around. "I, I'm alive!?" The Guyver armour then left him as he slumped down to one knee, his Zoanoid form also left him and he returned back to his human appearance. The look on Arlem Crane's face was one of confusion just before he lost consciousness and fell onto the ground. Atkins was about to get up when he suddenly shrunk back to the ground. He heard a chopper, he knew it wasn't the FBI's as none were scheduled to land til later. It hovered over where the battle had taken place and two ropes were lowered from it to the ground. Two men dressed in blue jump suits glided down the ropes. A stretcher was then lowered out of the helicopter, within a minute the two men were back in the chopped along with Arlem Crane and the chopper sped into the distance. Atkins stood up as the chopper flew away, he knew he now had his work cut out for him.

***

Sean thought about what Atkins had told him about Crane's return, his control medal had obviously regenerated him - Sean was extremely angry that he had not destroyed it. Chronos now had a powerful warrior in the Guyver Zoanoid, and what if the control medal was now completely repaired? That was a thought that Sean tried to push to the back of his mind.

"I can't belive I never destroyed his control medal, I feel like a fucking idiot!" Sean was fuming with himself. "This is bad Atkins, if Chronos have Crane then we're in some deep shit!"

"Maybe Crane doesn't want to be a part of Chronos anymore, he did destroy those Zoanoids".

"His unit would've been in self defence mode", Sean explained."Basically when the control medal regenerates you the human body is not actually conscious so the Guyver is in control. It basically protects the host until he's able to take control himself, it's the same when the Guyver unit is first activated too".

"Aah, I see", Atkins understood. "So it was the same for you when you first got the unit?"

"Yeah."

"But that means -"

"Yeah, you're right Atkins", Sean knew what he was going to say, "I've been regenerated before too". Sean changed the subject, "So where are we headed?"

"We've got a jet waiting at the airport to take us to HQ". Atkins knew Sean had deliberately changed the subject but decided not to pursue the issue. A few hours later the plane landed out in the middle of the scorching desert, Sean had to squint his eyes because of the glare. He looked around, apart from the desert itself there was nothing to be seen for miles.

"What's going on Atkins? I though we were going to the base?"

"We are, don't let looks deceive you Barker!"

Sean heard a rumbling sound as the ground he stood on began to move. "What?!" He looked at the ground, from what Sean could see at least a square mile of land was sinking, on it stood him, Atkins and the jet. Sean realised that he wasn't actually sand he was standing on, it was fake ground which was make to look like sand. Looking upwards he saw the large gap they left on the surface being covered up, obviously to cover up the landmass which was missing. "Geez Atkins, when you said starting an underground Chronos resistance I didn't realise I was to take it so literally!"

An hour later Sean had been shown to his room, he was now sitting on the bed reflecting on things. He was glad he was able to meet Cori and that she was doing okay. The two of them had agreed to be friends, there was just too much going on for anything else to go on between them. Cori never really had much to do on the base at the moment, but at least she was safe. Sean lay back with his head on the pillow and closed his eyes. He thought about his meeting with the base commander, General McBlane. The General must've been in his late forties, he was quite tall and stood around six foot two, he had jet black hair and piercing blue eyes. Sean could tell the man obviously still kept himself in shape. The general still wore a miliatary uniform, Sean could see many medals and awards pinned onto his jacket - the guy must've been some kind of war hero. As Sean left General McBlane had informed him that there would he a meeting at 2000 hours, he also ordered one of his soldiers to escort Sean to his room, and to show him the restaurant and the briefing room on the way. Not long after stepping inside his room Sean went to the restaurant as he was feeling hungry, while eating he noticed a few of the base personnel giving him odd glances. He guessed it was most likely due to the fact that word had gotten to some people of who and what he was. Sean finished eating his food and went outside into the corridor, he decided to have a walk around the base for a while. As he walked around some more of the underground HQ he realised that there weren't many places he could go. All doors he came too, whether they were blast doors or a small ordinary looking doors, were all swipe card access - which he didn't have. Sean's thoughts were brought back to the present as someone knocked on the door.

"Uum, Mr Barker sir. It's 2000 hours, it's time to assemble in the briefing room. Remember I showed you earlier?" Sean recognised the voice, it was the man who showed him to his room.

"Okay," Sean replied. "I'm comin'!"

***

Sean made his way to the briefing room, the door was already open, he stepped inside some of the base personell were already seated at the table. At the head of the table sat General McBlane, to his left was Atkins, opposite Atkins there was a man dressed in a white coat. To Atkins' left was an empty seat then there were two men, in military uniform, seated further down the table.

"Please Sean, have a seat", the General spoke in a rather gruff tone nodding his head towards the empty seat next to Atkins. Sean walked over to the seat and sat down, he looked down towards the table and waited for someone to speak. "You've already know Colonel Atkins," the general began, "this is Doctor Thompson to my right and these other men are Major's Smith and Anderson. Now I'm going to get to the point, we have a mission scheduled and need your help. We've located a Chronos processing plant in the middle of LA and we need to eradicate it, we have attempted this before but had no success."

"Wait a minute, it's been this long and you've only found one?" Sean asked. The General picked up Sean's impatient tone and looked directly into Sean's eyes.

"No we haven't only found one Barker!" The General replied with an impatient tone of his own. "But this one is the one which we have the best intel for. Major Anderson will accompany you with his team." The General stood up, "Colonel Atkins, I will leave the rest of the briefing in your hands." He promptly left the room.

"The objective is to get into the main laboratory undetected and upload their computer system's main hard drive into a storage device. Once this has been successfully done the building must be destroyed along with all of the Zoanoids and processing tanks they have. Anderson, time to gear up!" Atkins gave the order and watched as Major Anderson stood up, gave him a nod and left the room. "He's gone to ready his unit Sean, you'll be leaving -"

"His unit?" Sean interrupted. "Jesus Atkins, what the fuck are you thinking? These aren't humans that they're going up against!"

"Sean the men have been briefed on what they will be facing, they're prepared to do whatever needs to be done."

"Even if that means dying?!" Sean asked.

"Well hopefully it wont gave to come to that. These guys are professionals, they'll get in undetected and for this kind of mission that's what we need." Atkins replied.

"Okay Atkins, doesn't mean I need to agree with it. What's the plan". For the next half an hour Atkins went over the plan.

***

At 2300 hours Sean was en route to LA in an a plane it was definately a miliatary plane, although the men called it a drop ship. He was with Major Anderson and his team - which consisted of eight of the toughest looking guys Sean had ever seen, he just hoped they were tough enough. They were sitting on two benches running down either side of the plane, five men on one side and five on the other. They were all dressed in dark clothes and had camouflaged faces, most of the men were checking their weapons. Each man carried an assault rifle and had a handgun as a sidearm

"How long till we jump outta this fuckin' bird Major?" One of the squad shouted over the noise of the propellers.

"Yeah, I'm itchin' to get into the shit!" Another enthusiastically shouted as he loaded a magazine into his gun

"ETA is 5 minutes so saddle up guys!" Major Anderson yelled.

"I just wanna see what the new guy can fuckin' do!" One of them shouted.

"Well", Sean looked at the man to reply, "you'll find out soon enough!"

"Okay ladies", the Major started. "Final gear check". Everyone stood up so Sean followed suit. "Barker." The Major was holding a handgun inside a holster, for the first time since Sean had met him he looked unsure. "Do you, want this?" He held out the gun.

"No Thanks Major." Sean said, Major Anderson put the gun down and walked over to the door and pulled it open,

"Go time!" Major Anderson shouted. The men were lined up and began jumping out of the plane until it was only Sean and the Major left. "Let's go Barker, you do remember my instructions on the 'chute, right?"

"Yeah, piece of cake Major!" And with that Sean jumped, followed closely by the major. Not even ten minutes later they were inside the base, they had encountered little resistance on the way in - only two guards in human form who were killed easily. Now in the main processing room Major Anderson was downloading the information to a small data storage device. Inside the room there were twenty processing tanks, each had Zoanoids inside it as different stages of growth. There were only two sets of double doors adjacent to each other, and Major Anderson had them covered, three men to each door. The other two men from the Major's team were going around the planting C4 charges - these, combined with the ones planted on route to this room, would be enough. Sean was positioned next to Major Anderson while he downloaded the data,

"Major, I think things seemed a little too quiet on the way in - don't you?"

"You're right Sean but we're getting the intel we need so just keep your eyes peeled for trouble." Sean was beginning to worry, something just didn't feel right to him - only 2 guards on the way here?

"Done! We have what we need Sean, time to move!" Anderson secured the storage device inside his pocket and walked away from the computer screen. Suddenly the doors on the far side of the room got rammed straight off of their hinges, hitting two of the men guarding them - a Lisker type Zoanoid came thundering into the room.

"Holy fuckin' shit man!!!" The soldier still on his feet screamed as he opened up with his assault rifle, the bullets buried themselves into the Zoanoid's body but it kept on advancing towards him. Sean had already started running towards them, getting distance between him and Major Anderson before he called.

"Guyver!!!" The transformation blast field rippled through the air smashing some of the processing tanks, Sean tore towards the Lisker type. Within seconds he had easily slipped past a aggressive clawed hand and with his right vibrational blade extended and sliced the Lisker's head off, the lifeless body fell to the floor. Sean looked down at the two men who got hit by the doors, they were both dead. "Help them finish with the C4 charges" he told the remaining soldier.

"O-okay", the man looked at him in awe and moved away, helping the others plant the charges. Sean noticed some more Zoanoids running down the corridor where the Lisker came from. He looked back at the other door, one of the three men who were guarding it had one of the doors open,

"All clear here!" he shouted.

***

Sean seen three Ramotith Zoanoids running down the dark corridor, he had a quick thought and decided to try it. Sean focussed on the orb at his waist and began to feel a strange power radiating through his body. He opened up his hand and felt the power forming, he be put his hands together and thrust the destructive ball of energy at the Zoanoids. This sphere was definitely bigger than the one Atkins described - Sean watched as it went through all three of the Zoanoid's chests, they all slumped to the floor,

"Holy shit!" He said as he looked at the destructive power of his newly discovered weapon. Sean's head sensors began to move around erratically, he sensed Zoanoids coming from both directions. A klaxon alarm system began to wail, Sean turned around to the other men, they were finished rigging the last of the C4. "How much C4 is planted!?" he asked.

"Enough to level this shit hole!" One of the team replied.

"Good." Sean said. "We're outta here - follow me!" Major Anderson was planting some charges of his own on the side of the room where the computers were, everyone now began moving towards Sean.

"Hurry", Sean told them, "there are Zoanoids approaching - fast!" The six remaining soldiers were running through the middle of the processing tanks while the Major was running around the ouside of them. Sean sensed something but it was too late, a Zoanoid in one of the processing tanks was awake. The creature smashed it's large clawed hands through the glass grabbing two soldiers by their necks - snapping them like twigs. "No!" Sean fired his head beam at the incomplete Zoanoid, the jet of light went straight through the glass and into the Zoanoids head - killing it instantly. As the rest of the men reached Sean they started down the corridor with the Guyver in the lead, followed by the Major and then his remaining four men. The man at the rear of the group pulled the pins from two grenades and threw them back into processing room,

"Fuck you!!!" He screamed as the grenades exploded, causing the destruction of several tanks. The corridor went in a straight line, ten feet away from their position was a corner which two Zoanoids emerged from.

"Wait here." Sean told the squad as he sped towards the Zoanoids at many times the speed of a man. He thrust a powerful front kick into one of them, sending it rocking backwards - while the Zoanoid was stunned the extended his right vibrational blade and sliced the creature from shoulder to groin. As the two pieces fell away from each other a Lisker type Zoanoid came from behind the sliced Zoanoid and grabbed Sean's head with both hands. Sean grabbed it's wrists and as he pulled its hands away he made sure the Zoanoid's elbows locked then twisted. A dull crack sounded as the Zoanoid's arms flopped to the side,

"You shit!" Lisker growled as he flung himself at Sean head first, the Guyver sliced the Zoanoid's head off with a vibrational blade. He signalled to the Major and his team,

"Lets go!" Sean shouted as he made his way towards the corner.

"Sean!" The Major shouted. "Our ride outta here is ready, we need to get to it ASAP".

"Don't worry, we'll be on time." Sean replied. "Were not using their exit!" The Major had no time to question this statement as Sean darted around the corner. By the time Anderson and his team were around the corner Sean had already destroyed another three Zoanoids. Sean looked back at Major Anderson and the squad. "Stay there." There was another corner around twenty feet away and more Zoanoids were appearing from around it. Sean done nothing, he stood still. The Zoanoids continued to appear , there were now around twenty of them - intent upon the intruder's destruction.

"Sean what the fuck are you doing? Kill them!" The Major yelled.

"Relax Major", Sean said. "I'm killing two birds with one stone!" The Major looked confused. "Just a few more." Sean said to himself as he brought his right hand up to rest next to his chest plate. "That's it!" With that he opened his right chest plate, the mega smasher cell charged within a second and fired. The brilliant white light tore through the Zoanoids, obliterating everything in it's path. It then smashed straight through the wall, destroying it. Sean put the chest plate back into position turned his head to face the Major. "An exit of out own - lets go!" The Major and his men followed the Guyver outside, using the hole in the wall he made with the mega smasher. As they got a safe distance they triggered the numerous C4 charges which were placed. The whole building went up in a massive explosion, Sean de-activated his armour as the team was transported back to base via a chopper. As they looked back at the destroyed building Major Anderson was clearly happy at the mission's success.

"Excellent work guys! We got the information we needed and got some revenge on those Chronos bastards!"

"I just hope the info you got was worth it Major." Sean said, the remaining members of Anderson's team began to talk amongst themselves.

***

An hour later they were back in the briefing room, present were Major Anderson, the remains of his team, Sean, General McBlane and doctor Thompson. All of the men were seated apart from the doctor.

"Congratulations Major." The doctor said. "I believe you have something for me?" Doctor Thompson looked on eagerly as the Major took out the data storage device and handed it to him.

"There you go Thompson." With that doctor Thompson left the room with a very excited look on his face. "Typical fuckin' scientist", the Major said.

"Okay Major Anderson" The General Began. "You and the team are dismissed. I want a written report submitted first thing in the morning"

"No problem General", Major Anderson said as he led his team out of the room, after they left the General looked at Sean.
