Lost Numbers

The Lost Number Zoanoids are failed types, that do not die. Sometimes a zoanoid is produced that does not respond well to telepathy and has become infertile. These attributes go hand in hand, so it is possible that this is a pre-programmed trait set up by the creators. If the telepathy is not good, then the zoanoid is not allowed to pollute the bloodline and make a race of out of control creatures.
Obviously the lost number zoanoids are not looked upon kindly, as Chronos wants zoanoids that will breed so that when they finally travel in space they will not have to keep processing humans.
The Lost Numbers however, do sometimes have very interesting and useful abilities so they can be used to deal with current problems. Unfortunately, their sometimes unique abilities cannot be replicated.
They are disposable models.

Abilities

Dyme had the ability to turn his body into a liquid and thus fuse with the surrounding ground and foliage. This allowed him to shape the battle field into any form he desired. However, the further he spread out his molecules, and the longer he did this, the more difficult and dangerous it became. He was killed by Guyver I, who simply rammed his vibro-blade into the ground, emitting powerful vibrations until Dyme literally boiled to death.

Somlum - This fast and agile lizard-like Zoanoid had the ability to create and spit out a glue that 'fuses' with what it touches on a molecular level, thus assuming the strength of the item that has been glued together. He was killed by Guyver I.

Aptom - Leader of the Lost Numbers. Originally designed as a Zoanoid that could change form as the circumstances required, essentially taking the form of any other Zoanoid, it was found his abilities always fell short of the original. He was nevertheless deployed to fight Guyver One, using his special ability to take a form that resembled his opponent. His defeat at that occasion caused dr.Barcas, who was interested in his adaptation ability, to upgrade him; now, hiw powers greatly increased to the extent that he could not only perfectly copy any Zoanoid he had touched, but could even combine their qualities into new, even more powerful forms. Unfortunately, his change also completely freed him from Zoalord control, and he became a rogue predator - absorbing Zoanoids to add their power to his own. Eventually, he even came to support the Guyvers.

Originally, Dyme, Somlum and Aptom formed a small combat unit, operating together. These Zoanoids shared a strong friendship, being brought together by fate as they were, and being ostracized by everyone else.

Gelpess - A Lost Number with the unique ability to make its human form resemble any person, and the bizarre aberration that when he changed shape, his front became his back and vice versa. He looked truly grotesque. He was killed by Guyver One after he pretended to be Mizuki Segawa.

Bio-Freezer - The zoaform of Toshiaki Hayami has the ability to affect the temperature of the environment around him. He can super-cool things, including living beings, then shatter them. Unlike the others, he was intentionally processed into a Lost Number to protect him from Zoalord control.

Neo-Zektoll - After his entire team was eradicated by Aptom and Guyver III, Zektoll practically begged Dr. Barcas to transform him into a Zoanoid capable of hunting down and killing his nemeses. His wish was granted; Barcas was eager to take care of Aptom, who as a result of his actions had become a menace with a mad-on for Chronos. Zektoll´s reprocessing increased his power and abilities enormously, but also shortened his lifespan. He immediately set out to find Aptom, and he did not have to search very long. He fought the rogue Lost Number, and indeed came very close to killing him. But a bizarre coincidence cost him his victory. Mizuki Segawa and the other friends of Sho Fukamachi - Guyver One, who had been MIA for almost a year - had observed the fight and had come to the aid of Aptom, because they had mistaken his unfamiliar zoaform for the Guyver. So, then, their lives were endangered as well as Zektoll descended on them. Mizuki´s cry for help awoke Guyver One, who travelled across the world in the blink of an eye to help her. In the ensuing battle with the now-Gigantic Guyver, Zektoll found he was badly outmatched. He flew to the edge of the atmosphere, absorbing the unfiltered radiation there, preparing to release all the energy he could suck up in one immense blast that would destroy the Guyver - and Tokyo along with it. He died almost immediately when he fired his main weapon, vaporized by the backlash, but happy in the knowledge that he had avenged his friends. He therefore never saw that his blast was harmlessly deflected by the Gigantic Guyver. Neo-Zektoll had basically been changed into a one-Zoanoid version of the Hyper-Zoanoid Team Five that was more powerful than the entire unit. He not only possessed more potent versions of his laser cannons, but also sonic vibration blades (like Thancrus), organic missile launchers (like Gastor), heat flare generation ability (like Derzerb) and electrical powers (like Elegen). His ionic powers in combination with his electromagnetic wings allowed him to fly at considerable speeds. He could even use his electromagnetics to create a forcefield that could "split" a megasmasher´s charged particle beam around him. In order to protect him from Aptom´s powers, dr. Barcas had also fitted him with an aggressive virus that not only made it impossible for the Lost Number to absorb Neo-Zektoll, but also crippled his regeneration ability.

Other Lost Numbers that apparently functioned as normal Zoanoids, but like the others could not be reproduced, were mentioned by name but never deployed:

Dyme was one of the Lost Number commandoes, the three "failures" who were deemed succesful enough to act as warriors.

Nothing is known about his background or his life before being made into a Zoanoid.

His physiology was unique; in his human form, he looked like a rotund (let´s be fair - very fat), bald man with opaque eyes. His Zoaform, however, was nothing else than a liquid mass - roughly half a ton of organic molecules which maintained cohesion despite their liquefied state, not dissimilar to a slime mold   . He could merge with any materials which allowed this, particularly soil and plant life, and manipulate the whole as if it all was his own body. His control increased with the local concentration of his molecules. However, the larger the area over which he spread himself and the longer the time he did it, the more difficult it became for him.

Dyme rarely was allowed to leave Relic´s Point, as he, like the other Lost Numbers, was considered a test subject and little else. On one of his rare excursions, he was ordered to engage the Guyver. But he was killed when the Guyver unceremoniously rammed his sonic blade into the soil that contained him and emitted high-frequency vibrations until Dyme permanently lost control of his molecular cohesion and died.

His - rather tortuous and gruesome - death was a great emotional shock to Aptom - he was one of only two true friends he had in the world, and Somlum, their other comrade, had already died.

Nothing is known about the life of this Lost Number Zoanoid before he was processed, and very little of his life afterward. Like Aptom and Dyme, his special abilities made him one of the few Lost Numbers who were deemed fit for active field duty, but even so he only rarely left the laboratories at Relic´s Point.

On one of the rare occasions he was let out, it was his mission to fight the Guyver. Predictably, he died.

In one version of the events, he faced the Guyver alone after an attempt to abduct the Segawa siblings, and was killed by a Mega-smasher blast. In another, he fought as a team with Aptom and Dyme and was the first to die as the Guyver slashed him in two with his vibration blades. In both cases, the Guyver had succeeded to free himself from bio-adhesive bonds, a moment earlier.

This bio-adhesive was Somlum´s unique weapon; he could squirt it from a special, separate opening in the back of his throat. The adhesive had a molecular effect, that is to say it chemically bonded to any surface, creating adhesive force equal to the strength of the material itself. The bonding process was instantaneous, since it did not dry like glue, but rather underwent an extremely fast fixating reaction on impact.

Apart from this, Somlum was a fast, agile and relatively light lizard-type with a long tail.

His eyes were rather special; not only were they very acute, necessary to spray his main weapon with some accuracy, but also protruding, like a chameleon´s eyes; together, they covered a vision field of at least 220°. They also moved independently and with very rapid flicker motions, continuously mapping the environment.

-Developed by rogue scientists led by Dr Yamamura who were attempting to counteract Chronos addictive agents upon their escape

-Completely free of Zoalord telepathic control
-Freezing is accomplished via supercooled gas that is emited through peripheral cavities in the chest
-The supercooled gas is generated by a zoaform organ (an organ that is generated/grown in zoaform) which pressurizes gas that it has taken in
Dyme
dyme
Form Variable Type
DECEASED

Deployment: Japan
Strength Level: Classified
Development: Classified

Height: Indeterminate
Weight: 470Kg
Primary Weapons:
-Environment Mergance Control

Notes:
-Upon formshift, Dyme liquifies and merges with the environment (soil and vegetation). Each cell harness and controlls a given unit of environment material.
-His liquid state allows him to move through the environment with great speed
-This zoanoid form can only be maintained for a limited time before the bonds between cells begin to lose cohesion, giving Dyme difficulty in controlling his environment and form. His cellular bonds eventually degrade, causing death as his cells fully diffuse into the environment.

Weight: 272Kg

Primary Weapons:
-Mega Canon (Horn)
-Mega Blaster (Torsoe)
-Frequency Blades (Wrist)
-BioMissiles (Shoulder Pods)
-Thermal Emission (Skin)
-Electro Shield (Horn)
