Proto Zoalords

They are designed to have a very short life span and are created during the design phase of a Zoalord. They are created to ensure that the Zoalord's form is as close to perfect as possible and are simply disposable guinea pigs.

Masaki Murakami is one such Proto Zoalord who far outlived his design 'death date'. He was the only survivor of four individuals created as prototypes for Commander Guyot, who had used their powers to attack his processing tank, but were destroyed by the other Zoalords. As he has the abilities of a Zoalord, including the telepathic ability to control Zoanoids, he was considered a great threat to Chronos. In the end, he was killed by Guyot, who cracked his Zoacrystal; he was however resurrected by Arcanfel and now has taken Guyot´s place as a Zoalord.

Shizu Onuma , a young woman who is Agito Makishima´s confidante and unquestioning servant, volunteered to be processed into a proto-Zoalord, as well; her life-span has been critically shortened as well.

A final note: Agito Makishima´s organization, "Zeus´ Thunderbolt", has developed a new, unique type of Zoanoid that borrows attributes from different zoa types - the Libertus .
